Sports massage is performance-focused bodywork for active people—whether you’re training hard, working a physical job, or just trying to stay mobile and pain-free. This style of massage blends targeted techniques to assist athletic recovery, increase range of motion, and keep your body moving at its best.

Unlike a traditional oil-based massage, sports massage is conducted through loose-fitting athletic clothing, with little to no use of lotion, so we can use a variety of tools and techniques without slipping over the skin.

These sessions may include:

Table-based stretching to improve flexibility and joint mobility

Myofascial release to unwind fascial restrictions and improve tissue glide

Pin and stretch techniques to release muscle adhesions during movement

Cupping therapy to increase circulation and loosen stubborn tissue

Percussive tools (like a Theragun) for quick-release tension and muscle activation. Useful for bursitis.

Fascial scraping as practiced in Gua Sha or the Graston method

These sessions are highly customized and interactive—I’ll check in often, target specific muscle groups based on your activities, and adjust techniques depending on whether you need recovery, mobility, or prep for performance.
